Locker Room In Action
Jerry Martinez - PA
It all started on September 14, 2024in Florence, SC where I felt the Holy Spirit speak to me to look into the Spiritual Locker Room. Haven’t lost my wife of 35 years a 1.5 year prior I felt confused, lost, and depressed, but being a believer for over 40 years I knew that God had a plan and purpose to take a New Jersey guy 12 hours south to meet the Leader of the TSLR, CHRIS DANIELS who spoke at a crew chief conference for me to join TSLR. This platform has help me to further grow in my walk with my Lord and Savior. It is in the spiritual locker room where men can strip down of their insecurity, hurts, habits and hang ups without judgment and know that they have a band of Christian Brothers who will pray and lift them up and be there in a drop off a time in times of need. The LOVE IS REAL.

Jeff Sumpter - NC
The Spiritual Locker Room has impacted my life tremendously. I can recall before I was invited into this space, I did not pray out loud other than teaching my children how to recite the LORD'S prayer (Matthews 6:9-13) as JESUS taught his disciples to pray. The only reason that I can think of is being afraid and ashamed, of what others would think and say. But after joining the Spiritual Locker Room and only by the grace of our Heavenly Father, allow me to read Matthew 10:32-33 that changed my perspective of being ashamed or afraid to pray out loud to our Heavenly Father. Once I peeled back the onion it was crystal clear that I didn't want to be denied by our Heavenly Father as he stated in words. Now fast forward to the present, I am able to pray out loud with my family and with others without being afraid nor ashamed. I know our JEHOVAH GOD, has a plan for me and all I need to do is stay obedient to his word and trust his plans to the fullest in JESUS name AMEN!

Deacon Henry Hollis - Orlando, FL
Since I've joined The Locker Spiritual Room, my faith has grown, my study habits and prayer time is my time to commune with my Savior. I look forward to the time He and I spend together. My wife and I are also spending time together in prayer every day, and it has made our marriage stronger and more fulfilling. I also am encouraged every day by the messages and hearing what God is doing through my brothers in the Locker Room. 🙏

Six months ago, I was introduced to the Spiritual Locker Room, and it’s been a true blessing in my life. Every morning, I look forward to getting up, hearing God’s Word, and listening to the powerful testimonies of my brothers. Their stories inspire and motivate me—not only to pray for them and their situations but also to seek God more deeply in my own life.
Being part of this group has strengthened my faith and expanded my understanding of God’s plan for me. What touches me most is how much these brothers genuinely care—they check in on me, encourage me, and make sure I’m doing okay. That kind of love and support means a lot.
Starting my day in prayer, surrounded by strong, spiritual men of God, sets the tone for everything else. I’m truly grateful to be a part of the Spiritual Locker Room. To God be the glory—He is doing amazing things!

The Spiritual Locker room has been a group of faithful men has profoundly impacted my spiritual journey, providing me with stability and hope in Christ. Through their wisdom, encouragement, and unwavering faith, they have challenged me to grow deeper in my relationship with God. Their prayers, fellowship, and example have strengthened my foundation, reminding me of God’s promises and His unchanging love. In times of uncertainty, they have been a source of strength, pointing me back to the truth of Scripture and the hope found in Christ alone. Their influence has shaped my walk with God, giving me confidence and peace in my faith.

The Spiritual Locker Room been helping me grow in faith. I was lost in my Sinful Nature. I struggle with Forgiveness and Rage. Joining the Locker Room Monday through Fridayevery morning helps me renew my mind daily. I used to be scared to pray out loud and opening up about my past trauma that was hinder my growth. I can truly say have brothers daily walking with me through life has help me become the person I am today. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17 NIV

The Spiritual Lockeroom has been such a blessing to me. Our vulnerability and accountability with each other truly uplifts me and gets me closer to becoming the man I know God wants me to be. This is what brotherhood looks like.

My sister almost didn’t graduate from nursing school after being accused of plagiarism. When i brought the issue to the locker room, the brothers quickly prayed for it and my sister’s name was on the graduation list the following week. I believe it was the prayer in the locker room that made this to happen. Glory to God.

I’m learning what it’s to have brothers in Christ. I’ve never been close to any group or “ click in church “ . I have tried at one point to get involved, went through a class and became security at a church I had gone to years ago . As the security officer in the church I roved inside and outside during services and also went to the second service in the congregation. I knew this church was in a town with money and you can see everyone enjoying each other’s company and groups and clicks . I tried greeting everyone as they entered but I was invisible, it was so uncomfortable. So I moved on . The Spiritual locker I see and hear the love everyone has for each other. Concerns for their wellbeing and family. Amazing how brothers open up and tell there deepest , and no judgement. I still get a bit nervous to speak but maybe this platform will help open up ( forced ) haha
Love you pastor!

My journey with the lord id say when I was young. As I look back i can see God's presence in my life. I got saved and asked Christ to come into my life. In 2019 I moved to Virginia to be closer to my daughter. Things for me took a turn for the worst. I failed several tests to obtain employment. I ended up having to move into a homeless shelter so that I didn't have to leave my daughter. I was beat down, confused and just utterly exhausted with life. I felt like a failure as a man and as a father. At the time I didn't understand God was trying to humble me. You see I came to Virginia with my chest poked out like I'm going to fix everything. The lord politely let all the air out my chest. So now I'm broke. No job no money. I can't even provide for myself or my daughter. I started attending church services at the shelter. It gave me a level of strength and hope. I joined the Damascus program they had. It was great!! I got to fellowship but then my time was up at the shelter. So no more program. I still prayed read my word but something was missing. Then I got connected to the Spiritual Locker Room. It was something that the Lord knew I needed on a daily basis. Godly men with real problems who are able to discuss and share their struggles. Most importantly pray for one another. The brothers in the Spiritual Locker Room gave me strength. Especially on the days I just wanted to give up. My brothers talked with me and prayed with me. Provided strength. Brothers who would have carried me to the top of the roof if it was needed to get close to the our Lord and Savior Christ. I thank our Father in Heaven for every last one of you brothers. You guys have been obedient and done what the Lord has asked of you as Men of God. Praise God and may he bless every last one of you.

Though my experience with the Spiritual Locker room has been brief, it has been an enriching one nonetheless. Being able to be a small part of such an incredible mission is a reminder to myself and to everyone that God works in all kinds of ways. For me, I am thankful that I have been able to utilize my skills and talents in editing and writing that God has blessed me with for the advancement of the outreach the Spiritual Locker Room provides. The Spiritual Locker Room has been and will continue to be a tool that God will use to grow his kingdom in heaven for all of his children.

The Spiritual Locker Room is an incredibly special place where we come together early in the morning and begin the day pursuing a deeper relationship with the Lord and faithful obedience to Him through the power of prayer. What an excellent way to prepare for the day ahead of you! I’ve been coming to this place weekly for several years now and experienced the joy and power of answered prayer and sincere love shared with a group that is genuinely there for each other. The numerous ways they have shown up in my life has meant so much to me. Surrounding myself with a group devoted to knowing and loving Jesus has been a wonderful experience that has brought me closer to Jesus.

Kelley Mullican - Choctaw, OK
I just wanted to thank The Spiritual Locker Room so much for reaching out to me and my family during our time of need. I truly appreciate your generosity and the out pouring of support, prayers, and blessings from The Locker Room. Your support and caring approach gave me strength when I was weak. The giving of the food basket and your kind words reminded me that God would carry me through any storm that I may face and that he never gives us more than we can handle. Again thank you so much! Your friendship is a true blessing in my life!!! Love you brother!!🙏

Jordan Mims - Biloxi, MS
I am currently a graduate student at Mississippi College, and I was introduced to the spiritual locker room in March of 2021 by Mr. Terrence. Before I joined the spiritual locker room, I was lost, angry, and needed help on my spiritual journey. The men in this group quickly took me in with open arms and helped me more than I could imagine. I’ve developed genuine connections and formed a bond with men of standard from all over the country. I am blessed to be a part of the spiritual locker room and encourage others to join for a betterment of themselves and their lifestyles.

Alfred Mims - Biloxi, MS
I was invited to the Spiritual Locker Room in May 2021, by my son Jordan Mims. During this time, I was disconnected from God and living a life of my own. Day to day obstacles pushed me to be open to constructive criticism and guidance with my personal struggles. Having the opportunity to be a part of an amazing group of men has made a positive impact in my life. Getting baptized in April of this year was a milestone for me.
Since I have been attending the Spiritual Locker Room, it has inspired me to read the Bible daily, pray daily and seek a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior. I am a better man, better father and better husband because of the Spiritual Locker Room. It’s a safe place to fellowship with other men that are praising and worshiping God.

Reggie Dumas - Denton, TX
The Locker Room for me has been a place of answered prayer and true fellowship. I was invited in after a health scare, where I was admitted into ICU as my diabetes sugar had elevated to very unsafe levels and I was placed in DKA status. After several days Chris Daniels, a great friend, called and shared with me his most recent experience with his diabetes. He prayed, shared and walked with me through my situation, invited me in to the Locker Room where I received love, prayers and true fellowship with brothers from around the country. I have been blessed to recover in my health, finances, family and spiritually. I have been inspired at every level in my life. It is a place where we, as men, are true and transparent and have strength in prayer that has 114 year history passed down from generation to generation. It is filled with God’s Grace and Mercy🙏🏿.

Dave Brown - Rutherfordton, NC
I have been a member of the spiritual locker room for almost two years now. This place of morning prayer and meditation has truly transformed my life. I have learned how to pray the proper prayer and the lessons of daily obedience.
The Song "When men pray" is very powerful. None more so than being in the presence of men doing it daily.
My life today is an example of the spiritual locker room.

Andres Butler - Biloxi, MS
I was introduced to “The Locker Room” by a dear friend at a very low point in my life. Faced with the prospect of losing my family, I was a mess psychologically and spiritually. The encouragement, understanding, and wisdom I found within this gathering of brethren will undoubtedly bless me and my family forever! I am so thankful for the love they have for one another and for God! God indeed blesses those that come together in His name!!

Frank Christon - Midwest City, OK
The Spiritual Locker Room has been a consistent blessing to me and my family. The daily devotionals centers me each and every morning with fresh content and prayer. The Spiritual Locker Room has not only encouraged me through the rough times, but help me with anything that I needed to survive in this world. I am extremely grateful and blessed to have come across “The Spiritual Locker Room”.

I would like to thank the Spiritual Locker Room for helping me and my family in a time of need. Your compassion is not forgotten.

Evon Housen - Biloxi, MS
Prayer is something I found lacking in my life. The locker room helped with my obedient towards God word (to pray). I started with the locker room because I recommended it to someone else and wanted to walk with him during his morning prayer. It’s refreshing to get together early in the morning, with a group of men who believes as I do. I need a regular reminder about the power of prayer.

Stan Correia - Biloxi, MS
Bro. Terrence Mobley invited me to The Spiritual Locker Room several years ago. I’d been getting very good reports on what was happening for men at that early morning meeting. As an Elder in my local church, leader in mens ministry, facilitator of a daily Bible study for men and as a spiritual father to several young men, Terrence’s invitation was timely. Once I entered the Locker Room I discovered a group of men determined to strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ by being transparent, honest, raw and real about their lives as Christian men “fighting the good fight”. I discovered men submitted to Bible-based, Christ-centered correction, accountability and encouragement. I discovered men desperate to overcome faults and struggles in a confidential, no-holds-barred, safe environment. I discovered leaders like Chris Daniels and Terrence Mobley, along with several others, loving, praying and ushering men into holiness and the victory Christ has already provided. I discovered a place I could refer men to who needed more than my weekly meeting, but required “intensive care” from brothers specialized in mending broken hearts, destroying strongholds, teaching freedom and training warriors for Christ. The Spiritual Locker Room is only for men who have the discipline to get out of bed while it’s still dark and are willing to diligently walk with other flawed men toward King Jesus. Love the Locker Room!

Colonel John Bowley, (Ret) - Newland, NC
I’ve enjoyed the wonderful teaching’s of this daily devotional for sometime. As soon as I see the “coach” has a word I listen up. See for yourself. I am blessed every time I take a minute and a knee to hear the Master’s voice. I believe you will be blessed too.

Stephen Reck - Biloxi, MS
“The Spiritual Locker Room has been a place each morning to strengthen my “spiritual muscles” and a place to grow in my faith by hearing and sharing life with other brothers. Recently, these brothers prayed for me and my family after I was laid off from my job of 22 years. They truly bear one another’s burdens and usher in the heavens when they pray. They display humbleness, transparency, and an amazing faith in Christ.”

Rex Hart - Sparta, NC
What the spiritual locker means to me is that fellowship with one another sharing thoughts feeling and spiritual development with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Which lead me to baptism.

Fred Staton - Charlotte, NC
The Spiritual Locker Room is a place and space for men of God to speak, listen, grow, share and confess our struggles and triumphs without judgement or condemnation and ultimately become better husbands, fathers and disciples of Christ.
I was invited by a dear friend of mine Chaplain William Logan. This is a brotherhood like none other.

Jonathan S. Correia - Boston, MA
There's alot I could say about the Spiritual Locker Room, but the most significant aspect of the locker room is the Spiritual portion. On the very first day I joined the Spiritual locker room the topic was so heavy and so spot on, I couldn't deny the fact that God wanted to break somethings in my life and He wanted to heal me from my past so that I could truly walk into the abundant life He had for both me, my wife and my new family. The topic was on Anger and as the brother's in the locker room began to talk. The more I just listened and realized I needed this in my life.
As Christian men we need the candidness the Spiritual Locker Room offers, without we begin to feel like we are the only one's feeling/dealing with things we are enduring. I have benefited greatly from the relationship I've made in the locker room and I would not have received the revelation I did concerning my anger ( which stemmed from shame and guilt from my past. I thank God for the accountability I now have as well as, the opportunity to make focusing on the Lord and His Kingdom work a priority. Honestly the Spiritual Locker Room has helped change my life.

We were told that we would never have a child due to closed fallopian tubes. After 12 years and fervent prayer, God has truly answered our prayers. Thank you Father for a healthy baby girl!!!!
As my grandmother, Julia Boggs, always reminds us; "Man may say, but God decides!!! Amen!!!
